Dr. H Zhang is a highly qualified TCM practitioner and acupuncturist, holding a medical doctor degree in TCM, L.Ac, and a tenured professor at UEWM. He has also been a visiting scholar at Stanford University, and have studied under the guidance of Six generation family Master Yang for 30 years. His areas of specialty include acupuncture, treating incurable diseases, and qigong tuina.

About Dr. Haisheng Zhang

Dr. Haisheng Zhang is a highly experienced acupuncturist and TCM practitioner with over 30 years of experience. He is licensed in Acupuncture (L.Ac) and holds a Medical Doctor degree in TCM from Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine, as well as a Postdoctoral Certificate from the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science. He has studied under the guidance of Dr. YangJun, a sixth-generation lineage holder in TCM for almost 30 years and is also proficient in Medical Qigong, Taiji, Tuina, Mind-Body Medicine, and Meditation.

Dr. Zhang is currently the Dean of Integrative Health and Medicine College of University East-West Medicine (UEWM) and has also served as a visiting Researcher of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Exchange and Cooperation across the Straits at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Feb 2016. He has published 33 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been a referee for several Chinese Medicine Science and Buddha Cultural and Medicine journals. Additionally, Dr. Zhang has spent nearly two years researching Medical Qigong & Taiji and Mindfulness Meditation at MCRI (Molecular Cardiology Research Institute) of Tufts Medical Center, Harvard Mclean Hospital.

Our clinic specializes in treating a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, stress, anxiety, gynecological conditions, lower immunity, and post-stroke symptoms. We use various TCM techniques such as acupuncture, tuina, moxibustion, cupping, Qigong, Tai chi, and meditation to achieve optimal results. Dr Zhang is one of the best TCM practitioners I have met and he is certainly the best I have found in the Bay Area. He managed to treat and cure what I came to see him for and I felt in excellent hands. He is very skilled in acupuncture as well as cupping. Above all what impressed me was his excellent diagnostic ability. He took plenty of time to examine me and explaining treatment. Not only did he address the afire issue but we also discussed changes in diet and other measures to strengthen overall health. I wound give him 6 stars if I could.Dr Zhang, thank you so much!

Dr. Zhang has been great in treating my shoulder pain. Before I came in, I had horrible pain that no medicine would cure. I already felt better by the time my visit ended. It was a relief to finally find a doctor who was able to help me and I am so grateful!

Dr Zhang has excellent medical experience, he is good at lots of human being sickness, man ,women, kids. I got car accident last year damaged my brain and body, I was fear , blue dizzy, headache,neck pain,lower back pain everyday . After Dr Zhang‘help, I am not emotional , anymore , headache and dizziness become less and less , grateful him .
